I've been thinking of doing some port and polish work to my stock Northstar TB.
Mine is a '96-'99 style like this(found on Google):

I would like to do something similar to this one(also found on Google). It happens to be a 2000+ Northstar and the only picture of a modified Northstar TB I could find.

Rather nice work, I might add!!

Has anyone else done any work to their Northstar?

I would only port it, if you are outflowing it, which I doubt you are.

I don't see any point in porting it and still keeping the stock butterfly.

I meant more along the lines of re-shaping the IAC and PCV openings to streamline them a little more, then do some clean-up work to make everything nice and smooth.

    Would you see gains?

    Meh.

    Would it hurt?

    Probably not.
