yesterday i hypermilled it from work to home and got 36 average for the trip

mine tends to be pretty accurate. usually do manual math when i fill up and its either dead on or a hair off.
According to the computer I get around 27-28 Highway (72 MPH cruise) , and Avg MPG also according to the computer is 21.2. Only mods are CAI.
I get 13 city/ 32 Hwy, but I do live in NYC so my city miles are more unfair than what most consider city driving. Today it took me 3 hours to drive 48 miles in the city area during rush hour.
Mine sucks so bad on the highway I get like 22 what the hell is wrong with my CAR??? Is it my lower thermostat
More Boost. I have a 3.4 on there now. I just actually did he math this morning and I am geting 21.33 on mostly highway. I think that is pretty ****ty. I thought it used to be a lot better. I do not know what the hell happened.
I have a 3.4 and I'm getting a decent 27-28 on strictly highway. So I would assume my mixed economy would be something around 21 just guessing. Next time I fill up I will track it
i see you have an AF gauge... what is your LTFT? and yes with a 160 your prob not getting up to temp and running more fuel then needed. swap to a 180 at min and possibly the 195 for winter. even down here in FL i dont recommend a 160. i ran on on my Z when my trany was bad, as when the trany got to 185 it would slip. so the 160 gave me more time to keep it from slipping and also this is on the DOHC that had AL heads that cooled better then our iron heads.
to the OP. the Comp G has 3.29 gears vs the GTP's 2.92's... this will hurt HW mpg and may help in town. the gear swap helps low end acceleration.
I get 24-29 Highway with my heavy ass steel 18's
In town, and i mean strictly in town i can coax 23mpg out of it keeping it under 2500 rpm. This is with stop and go. Again with the 18's.
I have a couple more mods than you though and run a stupid amount of timing as the great equalizer.
wish we could have gotten work with my cruise timing
