Ok so I have searched and searched and now give up. I know al605 is favored for stock applications. now I dont want to run coppers I'm to lazy to change plugs every 10k mile I mean seriously i drive 16k a year. I know plats don't like superchargers. So that leaves me with iridium. What are my choices it looks like ngk tr55ix are equivalent to stock and ngk tr6ix are 2 ranges colder. Any reviews on the al605 iridium.

I'm mainly wanting cooler because I'm planning on dropping a pully later, and with the 100+ temps in the summer, and only having 91 octane the car really bogs down.

What do you suggest?I want to do this right the first time.

so you have the choice to run coppers and change your plugs 1-2 times a year and you're unwilling? wat.

you don't run cooler plugs without running more boost. so doing it before you drop pulleys is literally a waste of time and money. it also has nothing to do with outside temperatures.

my suggestion: run copper plugs and be a man about changing them. it is not that difficult or time consuming.

what he said it litterally takes me 10 mins to change all 6 and its only 2 bucks a plug, the point of coppers is cus they exchange heat better and if you plan on dropping pullys you better atleast grab headers a cai and i suggest a tune with a 180 tstat

What gtps are you working on I can't even get my arm behind the engine hardly. Plus I'm not a fan of working on cars when I replace stuff I like it to last as long as factory. Either way just going with factory Delco iridiums rockauto has them at $4.56 each plus a $2 a plug rebate can't beat that

But just FYI my future mods will be
    3.5 pully
    3inch downpipe
    Front plog
    Slp intake
    Overkill tune
    I think I already have a 180 Tstat
