sounds normal to me. just sounds like a 3800. perhaps some possible power steering noise there. but otherwise sounds normal.
uh
how are your fluid levels?
Have you tried the mechanics stethoscope?
you cant hear that sound of it whining down when i shut it off? My 2000 did not do this and this one did not wheni got it. Its liek it continues to spin after letting off. And ya im aware new ps pump this week
Edit: also when i really hammer on it it does the same thing when i let off.
I was thinking more along the line of power steering issues.
Its something else, once you shut the engine off everything stops spinning. Maybe ac compressor clutch going bad that is the only thing I can think of that would continue to spin after the engine is off.
the sound is .21-.23
try taking off all belts..
Thanks brandon ya it stopped after taking off the second belt.
So either ac or ps? I know my ps pump is bad so ill replace that and see what happens
Just another side note if my ps pump is bad could i have unwanted tention/friction that could cause my gas mileage to suffer?
so then it is bad to turn the wheels with the car off.. like if working on it.
