Anyone have any feedback on them? Just gathering info at this point. I know most will say just have a machine shop port my heads, but I don't know of any shops around my location that have experience in 3800 head porting.

Already have the cam. Now just looking for some mild heads to run along with it and also am planning an IC.
Intense is about done with my S2 heads. Though, I'm having the larger, I-1.90 and E-1.57, Manley severe duty SS valves installed. I should get them in about a week.
As I said is another thread of yours, the shop does not need to have ton of experience in porting heads for only 3800 motors.
A mild port is a mild port.
there isnt anything special about a 3800 head. its a head, same as any other vehicle. if they port they port all
well, you can mess it up if you do something wrong.
that being said, it's still just a head. give them a cam profile to work with and what your plans are with it. tell them what car it is from and that you're boosted, etc.
I'm looking to retain 105 springs and run titanium retainers. The cam is an s1x. So pretty much a mild port and polish haha. Shooting for 330-340whp inter cooled on 93 octane.
350~ WHP with an IC/heads/cam will be cake with a solid dialed in tune on 93+
Headwork really opens up these cars IMO, especially a lightweight valvetrain.
With ported heads though, think about going with a larger cam to utilize all that flow.
I was largely unimpressed with a set of IS3 heads I looked at purchasing for my turbo car. The ports were basically just cleaned up stock ones with no stem or runner work.
