Porting your LIM with stock heads is only going to make you loose power. Machining the top of the intake however is great for a ported blower.

For the amount of money you would be spending on all that you could get a decent set of headers, which will give you a lot more hp and also let you drop pulley sizes. Don't get me wrong ported blowers and TBs are great, but they won't really benefit you much on a mild setup. Now if you had a sub 3.2" pulley setup than that's another story, but otherwise that money is better spent on other mods.

On a related note I just recently bought a ZZP Stg.4 ported blower case lol, but before you guys call me a hypocrite it was selling for only $60 and I'm a cheapass so I just couldn't pass it up .

DOHCZ34 did the work, now sure if he's on here, but he's on CGP one of the best around IMO a local MN native

Well if your already going to have all that stuff apart, how about going one step further and install a cam instead .

A cam package will be right around what you would be spending for all that ported stuff anyway. Just some food for thought .

Porting the inlet of the LIM wont make you lose power tho will it? [I don't have too much hand on experience with this area]

Porting is NEVER a bad thing to do. Loose power, pure BS. I did mine is stages. First a 72mm TB. Then the blower outlet and polished inlet to match the TB. Then after a head gasket leak I did the heads and lower intake. An improvement at every stage.

    X2

Done need to spend a few thousand to remove a little knock.

Raised my compression when I built my motor, its now at 9.6.1. I run a GenV, and a 3.4 to no smaller than a 3.2 and man can she make some power and not over work the blower spinning a little 2" pulley for the same effect.

Just my way of doing things...but a IC does look cool with how high it pokes the supercharger out of the engine bay. Thats just awesome!

Porting your SC inlet, and minor machining on your out let will benifit your car if done correctly. Also might add a really good intake so its not starving the engine of air. Exhaust would be a good final investment to let it exhale all it wants.

i am going to run meth. i dont want the loss of boost from an intercooler and more things to keep up with in maintenance. i could care less if it is the best mod you can do, but i just dont want to do it.

otherwise port everything you can when you have your car apart. any little bit helps.
