Thread: Car bogging when I boost

Ok I just replaced intake gaskets , and all new gaskets from intake up, changed oil, now when i boost the car just kind of bogs idk what it is please Help ):

vacuum leak? Did you torque everything to specs?

Yes everything is torqued to spec I used my Chiltons, I made shure all vacuum lines were good I might have to go back and check

Check your egr tube

use some carb spray or brake clean or something along that lines of aerosol spray cans. When your idle goes wacky that's your leak.

Im thinking its the egr tube it had a crack in it and my dad siliconed it a little bit and i dident know but we think its that were going to try that carb spray now and see what happend, Thanks alot

I crushed my EGR tube when I did LIM gaskets. Wouldnt run for ****. Replaced the tube and bam all better

I just deleted my egr altogether so i didn't have to deal with it anymore.

I couldn't afford the 2 cents to do it

I took stuff from work and made block off plates lol free

It's pretty easy to do. I had steel at home to do it but i used alum from work because racekar weight savings.

Found out the problem for everything lately it is just the map sensor

I am preparing to replace my LIM Gaskets and wondered what is the best Brand to use as I understand Aluminum Gaskets are the way to go, also I am considering to replace my lifters while I am in there with either Intense or ZZP LS7 Lifters, anyone use these lifters and are they good quality replacements?

Gm/ ac delco. You can get ls7 on eBay cheap.

Why replace lifters?
