    Its really loud on a cold start kinda like omg car will die soon loud, then when it hits op temp it is almost not noticeable. Coming from back of engine.

    What does everyone think it is?

    also pulling rear valve cover tomorrow to get a look inside, is it ok to run the car for a few seconds with out it on? I know I will be cleaning up a mess afterwards.

    Too hard to tell from short video.

    But it almost sounds like a bad exhaust leak.

    That's what I want to hear. I thought all the times I have bottomed out on the SSAC sewer drain U bend it broke something, and then when things heat up the metal is expanding to seal it better,

    i lost a exhaust manifold bolt on my truck, i could hear the ticking till it got warmed up then it was gone completely.

    id look for the black soot around the headers. or feel around when its cold at start up with your hand to feel the breeze from the leak.

    So I went out this morning before work and started it.. Pretty nasty leak on the cross over. I was never able to get the band clamp on it and it was only RTV'd My friend wants to cut it and do a vband there.

    It can wait till next spring...

    why not put a band clamp on it?

    I was never able to get the fitment right. I tried using your easy install write up still nothing.
