Had the rocks tumbling sound from my supercharger, ordered a new coupler and gm supercharger oil. Used anerobic sealer on the supercharger cone cover when I put it back together. Let it sit for a day or so, but haven't really drove it for a month following. Just took it on an actual drive today and I have some hesitation when engaging the supercharger. No hesitation when maxxed and in passing gear, just initially when it first picks up. It kind of bogs down and seems like its unsure what to do but putting pedal to floor it smoothes out. Ideas?

Double check the broken vacuum line under the snout. Replace as needed.

I plead the 5th on that.

It didn't hesitate before the coupler change, supercharger worked, just knocked like it does when the coupler is worn.

funny little story. i looked at a car that was local to me for a member, it ran fine, he flys in 3 days later to pick it up, and it runs like crap.

and the guy parked it after i looked at it. so all it needed was a tune up bad.

So in a looooooooong update. I finally got around to doing plugs, wires, and fuel filter. This thing runs like a raped ape now. No long turn covers when starting, no hesitation under load.

That's good to hear bro... what plugs and such did you use. Per your situation vac leaks icm and good tune up are usually the culprit.

Autolite series 1 I remember was the name of the wires. AC delco maybe on the plugs. I remember they were irridium. Don't have them in front of me. The plugs that were on there were rusting around the nut, they might even be the stock plugs.
