I actually just installed this gauge this week:
52mm Dual Air Intake Intercooler Temperature Gauge Meter Blue Digital LED SMOKE | eBay
I put a water temp sensor on both the inlet and outlet of the intercooler. The gauge actually comes with two air temp sensors but water temp sensors will work as well. I'm planning on hooking up the air temp sensors (supercharger air outlet temp, and intercooler air outlet temp), I'm just waiting for the 4pt2 switch I ordered to swap instantaneously between the sensor inputs. I think I'll just tap the supercharger outlet for a vacuum line and t the air temp sensor into it and for the outlet temp I'll just t into the LIM vacuum line.
My cars actually not drivable right now, so I can't tell you what it reads when driving. But at cold idle there's around a 2-3 Celcius difference in the inlet and outlet temps.

Initial (incorrect) calculations suggested water doesn't matter, its all about getting as much heat into the water as possible.
Once I found some mistakes in conversions, it seems water quantity and temperature does matter.
Essentially stemmed from "Why does thrasher/PRJ seem to hold a marginal benefit over ZZP?"
Namely bar/plate vs heater core. Seems a bar and plate would be ideal if it could be impossibly large, but we simply do not have the space.
Laminova cores come to mind, but those are precision pieces and quite pricey.
All leads back to my original assumption: Buy a neil core, cheap front mount, bosch pump (possibly meziere), and large reservoir in trunk. Tank being optional as well.

I made that one and have been using it for the at least the past 2 years without incident. It seems to work much better than any heater core intercooler I've used before. I made a build thread on clubgp when I did the project.

That link should go to my build thread. I went with the recommended 15mm slots which seems to work best for these cores.
I can't actually drive my car right now, I sent my zzp control arms back for their updated versions, so when I get them back in a few weeks I should be to see the real time input/ output temperatures on the gauge.

They should have just sent you new front heim joints, not required the entire LCA to be sent back.

Mike. I guess I'd have to see a view through the top.
Not bashing, just very different from what I've seen before.
Edit: just looked at your post on club GP. Nice work OP, I'm still saying it looks too restrictive to flow though.

3 to one is easy, use two Y blocks or one 3-1 block.
Its interesting you mention air flow, this is the only intercooler core GM uses.
