Car idle didn't sound to bad from what I could here. Did you check your IAC and MAF? Make sure you didn't get any coolant in the motor oil
Not your average grocery getter, but theres always at least two things on the list.... 10w-30 Castrol Titanium and Shell 91 premium mixed with a lil 100 octane racing gas......

Oh god why is this alive. I never drilled the pcv hole on the IC core. Putting a breather in place of oil cap solved the issue.

I was just throwing random things at him for him to check. Its obvious that he running to rich, check fuel psi and make sure the fuel regulator and injectors are working properly(voltage, etc)

You suggested coolant in the oil ..... ???????? Still makes no sense as to how that could have solved the problem he was having. Acid..thanks for mentioning what it was that fixed it.

What, are u trying to make a point or something? Well its pointless if u are.....I didnt know what his main cause was so i was just trying to help. Dont come at me when I may say something that has nothing to do with the cars issue, but how bout u give a thumbs up when somebody does give accurate and correct info....

Dee, I'm not coming at you, I'm trying to understand what your suggestion is getting at. Your suggestion of checking the oil for coolant didn't make sense to me as to how that would cause the car to keep sputtering after it was shut off. I asked you to clarify, because on a daily basis I learn new stuff. I learn because I'm willing to say to myself "I don't know everything". In taking this attitude I've learned a lot that didn't appear to make any sense to me at all, so I asked you how that tied into the sputtering. My diagnostic approach is to suggest things that are relevant to the issue at hand to get the car fixed quickly.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
