    Not to jack but can you reuse stock rocker bolts to tq down stock rockers?

    Nope, they're torque to yield and not reusable. Fortunately, they're only like $20 from just about any vendor.

    not talking about backing them out, just torquing them down further. that 20ft-lb surely its more after the 90* turn added to the 16ft-lb

    I assumed that you already stretched the bolts.

    The additional angle required by spec is designed to stretch the bolt. The TTY bolts are actually treated as a spring. When they are stretched once they should not be stretched again.

    I suggested 20ft-lb because this is about the limit on a used TTY rocker bolt before it begins to stretch. Further stretch will weaken the used bolt.
