so its warming up again so here come the overheating threads...
well heres mine... looked around and couldn find much on my problem...
I tend to overheat on the highway (above 60mph). I kind of started noticing this towards the end of last summer (Octoberish) but obviously never had an issue over the colder months. If the outside temp ever gets up to around 60* or warmer is when I notice this...clouds...rain...doesn matter. At any temp around town I NEVER go above 180-185 even when its 100* out... but once I hit the highway for longer than 5 min it creeps up to about 215-220 (depending on ambient) which also makes my iats sky rocket...
reason Im stumped is because to me it makes since that the radiator is not getting enough flow on the highway for some reason? but I dont know why?
at first I thought it was the HE for my intercooler but that cant be it as its been there for 4 years and never had this issue... same with the WP under drive thats been there for 5...
I tried bleeding the system and topped off the coolant... was gonna wait on some thoughts before I just started throwing money at it..
thanks
