I have a gen v s/c and lim. I am wondering what the procedures are or how you woulld be able to bypass the pcv. I have heard of people doing it in the past but dont quite remember how to exactly do it.

Only reason to do this would be to run an external PCV and catch can. Unless you are installing an intercooler which blocks off the PCV, you won't need to do it.
If you are dead set on doing it I will get you the information.
why would you delete the pcv? on a n/a engine even? this is a pcv by pass thread to make it still work with a gen 5 blower swap.
whole catch can idea on a 3800 is silly too.
Sorry, I just figured one of these guys may have an idea about what to do. I heard it has a negative effect in conjunction with the EGR. Supposedly it leaves oil and sludge everywhere in the intake and exhaust valves and sometimes makes quite a mess in the upper intake manifold too
just because it oils up the lim dont mean its wrong, egr has noting to do with the pcv either. and the egr can be deleted with no issues. as long as its tuned out.
"build".
I delete the EGR on every 3800 I have. Not only does it clean up the bay, but it prevents the TB gunking up with carbon over time as well. All the people that gripe you lose all this 2~ MPG business...care way too much about gas mileage.
Well, I AM actually doing a build but I am taking my time doing it... I want everything to be right the first time, hence the reason why i am asking around for advice (No intention to sound like a rookie). Anyways i want this engine staying as clean as it can internally (as clean as an engine can get at least) so i don't have a bunch of crap sitting and gunking up on valves and etc. throughout the engine, as you said. I don't care much about mileage anyways haha. Why worry about MPG's when you're having fun?
