Probably too small of a pulley and a bad tune.

    Most likely.

That car should have crapped all over an LS4.

For reference my Regal beat my grandfathers 08 Impala SS by about a car from 20-120 with 1.9's, headers, and a stock pulley. His car ran 14.1 @ 99 while the Regal's best time in that setup was 13.9 @ 100.

That car should make a solid ~270whp with a proper pulley and tune. More than enough to walk hard on a stock LS4.

no proper tune...you NEED a proper tune. you should be running almost a second less than what you are running now as a guestimate.

It's about a 5 hour ride, lol. I used to drive to Gaithersburg once a month... it's not terrible but it's definitely far.

you know as a precautionary measure i would take off that 3.0 and put back on the 3.4 or the 3.8 pulley if you still have them.

i used to drive to greenbelt MD every week, (i used to stay at the holiday in by the ikea) doing stops along the way, but the drive home non stop to north jersey was a solid 4.5 to 5 hr drive. ct is another 1.5 hrs to the Hartford area from n jersey.

after that toll into del its a 55 zone all the way to NJ, the del troopers are waiting for you, both ways too. once you hit the turnpike in NJ its a 65 zone unless the signs say different due to construction.

anther road tip, take the tappan zee bridge over the hudson river to 95, that toll is cheaper, and free on the way back and also gets you out of a lot of traffic near NYC.

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW
