Im not going to be selling the car i have to much into it already!
Easy way to tell:
Drain the oil and see if it has a metallic appearance...bearings in the oil.
The reason I'm saying this is I never heard a rod knock accompanied by a squeak or squeal like that.
Could be the audio playing tricks on me though. Over a two year period I had three motors with spun bearings not one of them sounded like that.
If it is a rod bearing(s) then that is the worst I've ever heard. LOL
It has the metallic appearance in the oil.
