    so while scanning the hptuners sees a spike in rpms and the car shuts down for a secong...then normal then glitch....kind of hard to explain but i have changed the crank sensor, th computer, the ign module. i cant figure out all the things that could affect the rpm like this. any1 else had this issue?http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb...type=1&theater
    2000 Daytona 500 GTP. fender well intake K&N, 180 tstat, flipped dog bones, strut2strut brace, sd headers coated n wrapped, 3in dp, 3.25 pulley, pcm tune, led tails, angel eye halos w 100 watt h1s, p&p heads, p&p m90, yella terra alum roller rockers, head studs, 8mm wires, al104s, 2007 l26, 329s hd diff, alum sub frame

    It's not a "glitch", your car isn't a computer program.

    Change your cam position sensor, crank position sensor, and check the harness that goes to both of these sensors. It sits behind the serpentine belt and sometimes gets chaffed.

    as already stated i did the crank sensor. today i did the cam sensor. inspected wires. they look great...i also inspected thm when i had the harmonic off when i changed the crank sensor...all wiring is in good condition with nothing bare or touching anywhere it shouldnt be......so any more ideas for this rpm spike and then the thing goes to shut down...i am about to mess with the knock sensors.....im lost. after this im gonna try changing the ign control module again..this will be the third one.....

    hp tuners software caught the glitch i am speaking of. the car wants to shut down when this happens. its an l26 top swap. no engine codes, i changed the crank sensor, the cam sensor, the ign control module, and computer. im not sure what else deals with rpms....when this happends its under boost..normal driving it does not do it. also seems like sometimes it wont do it. mostly does it tho. in the tune we have got kr almost completely gone maybe a blip here and there. traction control is disabled. we set the rev limiter from 7000 rpms to the max hp will let us 8000 rpms. either way it some how thinks its over revving and shuts down. obvously in the pic in 2nd gear at 48mph i am not at 8000 rpms but something is telling the pcm that it is... any ideas???? click link to see pic

    well where would u like me to put it because at first i thought it was a tune issue now i think its with the engine so i want it in two different places so people see it
