Somebody told me today of an easy mod for my car to make it more responsive. He showed me where the boost actuator was on the supercharger housing and told me to loosen the 2 10mm bolts, push the actuator all the way in, then rebolt it down. He told me my car will be alot more responsive if i do this. Has anyone ever done this before?

    X2

People have been playing with that bypass for years with no proven results.

It makes boost come on faster, but you still end up having the same pressure as long as everything is working properly. THe BAD thing about that mod is that it makes burst KR more apparent and is harder to tune it out.

X3. I was told the same thing, did it, and lost power. Don't do it. The only time it should be adjusted is if at WOT, all the bars aren't lite up on the boost indicator. Some times from the factory they don't come adjusted right. Not a common problem, but it does happen. If that's not the case, your fine where your at with it.

I wouldn't do the second one. Leave the screen in.

As far as the BBV goes, Mine was broken for the longest time and I didn't know it. Basically premanently closed "All Boost All of the Time". I had no part throttle KR or any other issues. Of course my car was tuned with the valve closed and probably the reason I didn't have problems. That said, I went ahead and did a replacement.
