and i have to say that a 15.98 @ 86.5 mph is not bad! cant wait to get it a bit faster though!

^^ agreed
Be careful, it is an addicting habit!
He is in Denver, so altitude may be hurting the numbers.
haha calm down guys it is a gtp but i have 5280 ft to deal with haha so down at sea level i would be sitting at 14.98 hahaha and my 60ft was a 2.6 ish. its been a long time so my rt times were horrid...but im workin on that! and all i had is a K&N intake and removed headlight.
wow your time could be alot lower just with some better 60's. reaction is the time it takes you to move. 60 foot time is the time you cross the begining light to the time you past the 60 foot. reaction time has nothing to do with that. you can have a 2 min reaction time and still have a 2 sec sixty.
you can also stage very shallow in the box. there is a little bit of room from when you light the lights up to when you pass the starting lights. if you stage like this you can get a little bit of a running start before starting your time.
work on those 60's tho man you can problew cut atleast half a second off your time if not more.
load up a little bit, maybe 2000 rpm, not to much, dont wanna spin then roll into the throttle as fast as you can with out spinning. i manged a 2.1 on 42 psi in my tires. if i would have droped the psi i might have been able to get a 2.0
the main thing is get off that line as fast as you can without spinning
were your 60's getting better each time?? and were you spinning??
if you had a 2.1 60 compared to your 2.6 you would problew run low 15's
guess i overexagerated my times a bit just looked at the slips again...
#1- 2.34-16.34
#2- 2.27-15.99
#3- 2.25-15.84
then it got worst as the track cooled...GO SUNSET!
#4- 2.29-16.03
#5- 2.45-16.15
#6- 2.30-16.13
o that aint to bad for the 60's. and well your car is gonna run a little better at night when it starts to cool down. not to bad tho, yea that high elevation is killing you
ya it suck to say you have an ls1 bird running 14.6's hahaha just means i gotaa do a bit more to speed it up! haha and the car ran better but the 5th run i had TC on...and the 4th and 6th i spun pretty good...
yea i just had my first race ever yesterday... my best run was a 14.7 @ 96mph... i think i could do better honestly. i gotta work on my r/t and 60' times... in my last run i finally got the tires to hook up good
i put my tires down to 25psi n only loaded it up to 1000rpm... didnt wanna spin i was having way too many problems with that on my earlier runs
