Would anyone like to hear my sewing machine 3800?
yes i haven't had any problems with that cylinder that was on the front of the motor and i had a misfire in the back and alot of noise was coming from the back of the motor so i made sure everything was seated right and not cracked worn ect. everything was fine only thing i did different was i cleaned the threads on the head and the bold and used the red lock tight.. closed it all up ran great for a lil bit but there was alot less noise in the engine bay so it made it easier to pick out that i had the same noise just less of it in the the front so i did the same with checking everything, i drove it 20miles now it sounds like a valve tick or exhaust leak...
Probably blew up, again.
i would love to start the car and listen to it but my ignition lock cylinder is sticking and turn the key forward and nothing.. it just won't go to the start postion
get that 3.2 pulley off man, your gonna blow the engine again. dont go WOT.
i will take that pulley off your hands too, will trade you my 3.5"
i put all stock parts back on the only thing that is not stock is the intake witch don't matter, i would love to jump the starter but i have a breathalyzer in my car and that would end up getting me into trouble.. i have the part already on its way and just need to get a steering wheel puller and a air bag spring removal tool...
the lock cylinder was broken but was not the problem for the car not starting it is the ignition switch, and for the valves one bolt for some reason came loose took it out check to make sure the was no bad wearing on it put it back and no more tic... i am getting 35mpg at 47mph now!!! insane love how these cars bounce back so well not even i can destroy this car lol... i have to admit i put the plug wires back it the wrong spot and could have swore that i destroyed something but nope just the wrong firing order...
