I just did a top swap on my 98 GP GT ran perfect before. Now to get it to start I have to hold the gas down alittle and it doesn't stay running unless i hold the gas. Only code is P0300 for a random misfire

Any pcm changes?
Which tb did you use?
Double check your plug wires. Trust me....I'm pretty sure. You do have some exhaust on it right?
The PCM is a gtp w\ a gt trans tune
I'll check the plugs again
What year of PCM?
Who changed the tune for the trans?
What injectors?
What year tb/maf?
98
guy from here from South Daktoa can't remember user
l67 inj
99 tb\maf
It did that after I switched pcm
I checked the plugs and got it started for alittle bit still had to hold the gas. after it died I tried to start it again and no go
Sorry forget to say after I switched the around around the p0300 went away and started and had to hold the gas a little but now i can't get it started
Yup good blue spark, I can get it to start if i spay some starting fluid in then I can get it to start and run
how would I hook a f\p resistor up on a l36 harness, I dont have a pressure gauge with me but if i push the value in it will shoot over the hood
Oh, forgot you did the swap. So starting fliud gets it running and there are no other DTC's. HMMMM.
Still sounds like a vacuum leak. I know it's hard to check for vacuum leaks when it won't idle but maybe someone can help you...one guy with a can of carb cleaner and the other keeping it running at a steady RPM.
Edited:
Did you try unplugging the MAF?
I'll see if a friend can help tomorrow before work. Yea i tried the maf no change. oh just noticed something the boost gauge doesnt move when it goes into boost
