So i recently got the p0401 code (egr) and i replaced the egr with one from the jy and cleaned the crap out of it. and my code came right back. So i took off the tb and cleaned it and where the egr hose goes into the intake manafold. I took the top hose off and noticed it had a crack so i got a new one from the dealer and replaced it. and the code came back so i looked at the bottom hose and there was another small crack and i replaced that and returned the egr i got from the jy and got a better condition one from the jy again and the map sensor. and i thought for sure it was taken care of. Well i shut the code off drove like 10 miles and sure enough the code is back. Anyone have any other ideas? maby the second egr is bad aswell. or is it possible the hose coming from the exaust to the bottom hoe is clogged? im stuck on this and i need to get a sticker. any help would be apreciated on what else can cause this.

the solenoid is part of the egr itself. not sure about the dpfe. your intake shouldnt effect it.

did you check the tubs for cracks, they can brake pretty easily.

Ahhhh an insufficient flow code. Most often it's the map sensor. Reason behind it that diagnosis is that you don't have any EGR codes relating to the pintle stuck etc, which the pcm can test and sees. Most folks think this is an EGR code, but in reality it's a map code. The map sensor is reading the pressure, when the pcm commands the EGR open it expects to see a change in manifold pressure via the map sensor.

You may want to check the vacuum lines going to the map sensor.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
