try rerouting ur plug wires. mine did something similar so i moved the wires and routed them under over and under the dogbone and not through the dogbone. worked for me. hope that helps.. if u figured it out lemme know what it was..

So Im getting all new coils tomorrow I had yet another one go on me. Not sure why my car is eating coils...perhaps because they are accel super coils? So I'm getting stock ones tomorrow. Let you all know.

have you checked fuel pressure? when is the last time you replaced the fuel filter.

you keep throwing all these ignition parts at the car, spark is only part of the equation.

check the resistance of your injectors as well, if anyone can enlighten me, whether we have peak and hold or saturated injectors? peak and hold is usually around 2-6 ohms of resistance and saturated, 8-16 ohms.

also a easy test with injectors, is a power balance test, with car running, unplug each injector one at a time, unplug it and plpug it back in, you should feel the cars rpm drop, do this to each injector, if you notice little to no change, thats the weak or bad injector.

Bad fuel pressure wouldn't explain why my coils keep going bad..this isn't me guessing this is me taking known coil off putting knowfogsod coil on misfire goes away. But bad fuel pressure might be to blame for Mis in high rpms. I'll let you know about fuel Tuesday taking it into shop to use there tools.

What makes you think the coil is bad, besides the "random misfire" going away.

Have you tested the coil with a voltmeter;or dmm?

I have a feeling your wasting tons of money on coils for no reason. Test the coil with a dmm and check for continuity between both points where your plug wires plug into, if its O.L. or shows high resistance its bad. I can get you specific spec when I get to school tomorrow. We have ALLData Pro for free,

lucky for you I'm in my second driveabilty class where we test no spark, emissions problems, rough idle, etc. You know, drivability concerns.

I will get back to you with the coil specs, as well as injector specs for resistance.

If the misfire moves around, it really sounds more like a fuel pressure problem.

You did say you already replaced your plug wires? If not take a water bottle, and spray the plug wires with water, if you see arcing, you have faulty plug wires causing your spark to go to the least resistant path to ground, giving you misfire

Well stock coils on and.....no more misfire! Runs fine under WOT now. To answer your question as to why iI thought it was a coil it was because when I moved the coil the misfire moved with it. And I wasn't buying new coils summit replaced them free they also gave me the stock coils free and refunded me money.

Oh and for everyone don't buy accel super coils...I should have listened and bought stock coils like everyone suggested.
