While coasting(foot off the gas) on the highway with the traction control on, my vacuum was 13psi, when I did nothing else but turn the traction control off, the vacuum went up to 19psi. Da ****? Is there something that's vacuum activated in the TCS? It just seems really weird to me, and honestly I don't even know where to start looking for a problem besides obviously the lines but I don't know where the TCS stuff is.

    um idk.

But when you do start to coast the motor becomes a giant vacuum and pulls down lots of vacuum, up to ~25, noramlly it will only go that high after a WOT pull.

It doesn't go near that. Even at a stop the car seems to do it. At idle I know I should be 18-22 but........it's not unless the TCS if off.

Ed..I have a vacuum gauge if you'd like a second source to check it. 13 is very low and to answer you question.. TCS is all electronic. Shouldn't have any effect on the motor at all.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    1. You mean inches, right? Not psi? 13 psi is like 26 inHg, 19 is like 40 inHg (unless you pulled it off an airplane or something, I doubt your gauge will read that).
    2. Maybe the bypass was open and turning off TCS closed it, increasing vacuum.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.
