It probably has problems starting because the motor is trying to lock up.
I'm not messing with any more until I call the guy that did the work on the gaskets and such to make sure he did not **** up anything
so the oil was normal color not milkshake looking with metal in it?
Flex plate or bad rocker for sure. I would start with the pulling the valve covers first then go from there.
An article stating common sense would probably help a lot of newbs. May not be a bad idea. It still amazes me that people don't change the oil before and after an internal coolant leak. I mean, where do they think the coolant goes?? That's right- straight into the crankcase and last I checked bearings do not run on a light coating of coolant.
Sad thing is if it does turn out to be a spun bearing then the shop that possibly caused it will weasel out of it by saying that the coolant had already damaged it and they are not liable (i.e.- go pound sand).
