    Just pulled mine off for the LIM job, disgusting mess... can I pressure wash and let dry without any ill effects?

    <--Literally just did that today.

    Im cleaning everything to get ready for powder coat/paint (building up an L26-67swap)

    But, I did wipe it as dry as I could, then used a heat gun to dry in the recesses, to make sure there was no water anywhere.

    yeah. my dad used a high pressure hot water pressure washer he had where he used to work to clean the LIM on my L36. makes it look so goood. do et.

    i'd think a hotsy would work better, but sure de greaser, and let er rip. dry it up real nice and done.

    Took my 04's valve covers and LIM to the local car wash and made them look new again. Hot water, high pressure and soap do wonders.

    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
