98 GTP only getting half boost lately. I know i have a vacuum leak, but could that be the sole contributor? It got to the point of generating no boost and was throwing a TPS code, mechanic said it was a bad tps connector, changed the connector, now back to half boost. Ideas?

The boost control soleniod (rectangular electrical piece) can go bad and give partial boost. It's pretty common. However, I'd suggest fixing a known vac leak first, to keep from going lean once you get full boost back.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Vac. leaks can cause all sorts of nasty problems. They can even effect the transmission and the way it shifts.

i have the same problem so what was your fix? should i replace the solenoid or the bbv or both? disconnected the lower line that goes from solenoid to bbv and got full boost as well so plugged it back and went back to half boost
