I have been looking for help or a post for about week searching for information on doing the flush problem, i have found posts about it, but not really really thorough about their issue so here i am asking for help. Apologies if there is a post about this and i just didnt see it i guess "/
Just finished replacing the coolant elbows and im now flushing the coolant.

1st Problem: The radiator plug is in the bottm right hand corner of the car. The plug is plastic with a hex. My tools cant get them in because of the awkward position i have to be in so, to make it easier, remove the under panels?
2nd Problem:Panels under the car consist of removing 2 or 3 screws and 2 tabs, done. But i cant get it out! It looks like i have to push down and pull them out, once i get to that part, the right side is almost out, just need to pull the left side, left side will not move at all, right before it gets to the point, it just stays stuck. The middle of the panel, well idk, gotta get the left side moving first.
So thats where i stand, and literally this baby is almost done! Just do this, get rid of the abs light and check engine light and then, pass smog this and that, and im good to go! Thanks for the looks and help. pics would help too thank you!

Should be 5 10mm bolts that hold the shield in place, maybe a plastic clip or two.

The easier way to drain the radiator is to pull the lower hose though. Sometimes the plugs are stuck or sediment keeps you from draining from the plug.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

So the best way to drain the coolant is the lower hose? Also how much coolant should i expect to drain out cause ill probably get a bucket of some sort that fits nicely under the car Just wondering how many gallons (even better do they make anything to drain it into?).

When I drain for various things, it's typically about a gallon or two that drain out of the lower hose. If you pull the front cover, expect another gallon or so.

When I pick up, I'll get a gallon of concentrate for LIM gaskets or coolant elbow. Two gallons of concentrate for cam installs. That way you mix it 50/50 yourself.

    5, 10mm bolts for what?

The Lower Rad hose is a clamp...and the T-Stat is 2, 10mm bolts.

When flushing the system should switching to the green stuff from dexcool be a good idea?? Personal question by the way guys.

Whoa...there bud. I'm a Regal guy and owned a Bonneville. It's the sheer number of GP's that need work that gained me this knowledge. lol J/K

If you want to fully drain a motor etc pull a knock sensor and retorque it to 14ft lbs or your knock sensititvity will be off.

I usually drain the system then go out and flush with a hose through every orifice that is part of the cooling system. Pull the heater hoses and flush both ways through that, both ways through rad and engine with T stat out. Expect to take a bath.
