ive recently started looking into a gen 5 swap possibly, instead of rebuilding/upgrading my gen 3. Im just trying to clear up what all is needed for the swap, is it just the LIM/tb adapter/and s/c, or is there more to it than that? thansk for any help

Then you need to make the pcv system work and block off evap or make it work also. Then you need a 2000 plus alternator bracket.

You can use the L67 manifold but it is best to open up the inlet opening to match the gen 5 gasket. To get the PCV to work you have to drill out a brass plug on you throttle body.

    See my thread

Without an intercooler you attach to the nipple on the back of the gen 5 supercharger.

Also you can tap your throttle body spacer and run a hose from that. Just need metered air to go into the pcv nipple. To get the evap to work I would try to get a gen v with the evap line on it then you can run a hose to your solenoid.

NOOOOOO. You need air from between throttle body and mass air flow. If you tap the adapter you are connecting both sides of PCV to same place and getting no air flow also will put full vacuum to crankcase.

The N* TB has a nipple on it, just put a hose to the nipple on the Gen V.

The last one I did had a 90deg quick/push connector threaded into the EVAP on the Gen V and used 3/8's plastic fuel line from that to the stock EVAP soleniod mounted to the back of the Gen V.

I have an adapter plate and TPS adapter if needed, can get pics if needed.
