Just installed the ZZP St2 IC core & for some reason I barely get any throttle response. Car's running fine, no leaks. The pedal feels loose & I have to push halfway down just to get a response...what the eff?

Did you forget to hook the throttle cable back up?
The car runs great. It's just...I hafta push the pedal down a lot farther than I used to to get the car to move. Its really odd. Could moving the throttle body up 2.25" make the throttle cables loose enough that it affects throttle response? Or is it something else?
make sure your cables are nice and tight. make sure the throttle blade moves smoothly. make sure the cables move smoothly.
you gotta help us out here, help us diagnose.
Nope didn't make a difference. For some reason I now only get 40% throttle. And that's with the pedal smashed to the floor. Could it be a TPS issue? I'm kinda stumped.
Did you tighten it or loosen it?
theres a TPS relearn that you can do. i think its with car off but in the run position, you put the gas pedal to the floor 3 times in a row and that does it. you should search for it though because im not positive thats the procedure.
the other thing, is you hood hitting the cable bracket when you close the hood? when the bracket goes up it might be hitting the hood and getting stuck. you can bend the bracket a little and then adjust your cables again or take the pad off the hood to give you more clearance.
Have someone sit in the car and slowly push the pedal. Look under the hood while they're doing that and see if the throttle moves.
I'll do that & check to see if the throttle cables are catching on the hood. It's a pretty tight squeeze to shut the hood now & many parts are rubbing. I just nvr thought to check the cables for rubbing/catching.
When you push the pedal to the floor is the throttle blade actually opening up all the way? Can you take pictures of your throttle cable where it attaches? I think you have it in the wrong spot.
