    haha! True...in both cases!
    2002 GTP: K&N, 3.2 pulley, flipped mounts. ZZP SS headers, 180 stat, NGK TR6's, MSD wires, Reptile ported TB, ported S/C, ported LIM, Intense Stage II heads with larger Manley severe duty SS valves, Yella Terra 1.9 full roller rockers, LS6 springs, Racetronix fuel pump re-wire, Oil pressure "kit", JMB FWI. Mustang dynoed at 240 WHP, 272 WTQ.

    ok here is another update..I/We've got the motor a good deal of the way tore down...the piston seems fine...but I have a cracked head....





    so I guess the next question is where can I find some cheap-ish heads? lol..can I get a set for 2-250? thanks!

    You can get remanufactured heads for around $500. Check out rockauto.com

    Glad to help... ZZP also sells remanufactured heads, without a core charge which would probably be cheaper in the end considering you have a cracked head.

    You should be able to pick up a set of used heads for $150-250 pretty easy, then I would get a valve job done for around $100 and be good to go.

    Sorry...but don't get suckered into this mess.

    I'd go to a local junkyard...yank some heads off of ANY SeriesII/III Supercharged car...have the heads reconditioned...and you'd be good to go...and probably save you half...if not more than half of what ZZP wants.

    Ok.....so i just picked up two sets of heads...one stock...one ported......the stock ones need a valve job...but the ported ones are ready to go....waiting on them to ship......gonna put in the ported ones for the sake of gettin my car running again quickly......paid 160 for both sets including shipping

    anyone know where I can find a decent priced head gasket set? all of the ones around here are 230ish...hopefully thats not the best I can find lol

    I just got headgaskets from advanceautoparts.com using coupon codes for $10 each!!

    Make sure you get non supercharged headgaskets btw.
