Drove 90 miles today for work, got home car sat for3 hrs. Went to the gym with no problems. Finished gym start car, vroom.... dies. vroom.... dies. vroom gave it gas to 3k and dies. Did this 10-12 times. Popped the hood, touched the air filter, closed hood. Started right up and drove 3 miles home with no problems. Sat at the gas station to running for 2 min and not a hiccup. I am hearing fuel pump resister/maf etc. Which is the culprit. Last week I snapped a half shaft 15miles from home, 40$ tow and 300$ later that was. 6 days after that fuel pump went out and left me stranded 40 miles from home. 200$ tow and 287$ later I am flat BROKE. This car is KILLING me

$300 for a half shaft? I bought mine for $80. It took like 1.5 hours to do, not hard at all.

Unplug the MAF and start it.

If it runs...then the MAF is bad.

If its still giving you issues...try this:

69.99 for the halfshaft, i did both plus cost to have someone install it as i didnt feel like messing with the car.

Its the resistor. what a pos. I should just replace something everyweek before it breaks so I never have a problem again. If I did that in 6 months it would be almost brand new!

Atleast the fuel pump is brand new, dont fail me now while on high!

The only thing bending the tad over is that it sets the fuel pump in high mode all the time. While your pump is always working at 100%...your gonna be golden...until it gets tired and craps out on you prematurely
