    For some reason i cannot find my stage 2 FMHE that came with my i/c kit. now i have everything installed and setup up and i looked everywhere smfh. Are there any local alternative heat exchangers?
    Gen V, 3.0, Stage 2 heads, XP Cam, SD Headers, N*, LQ4, ZZP Stage 2 Gen 3 Intercooler, CAI, AL 104's Gapped to .055, #130 Springs, 42.5lb Injectors, ZZP Tune.

    Phil said he thought a Radiator from a volkswagen (I think jetta) would fit as a nice easy alternative..

    Could my car be driven wit the intercooler core on but no fmhe?

    Exactly, just make sure your pump isn't running dry, disconnect it if you have already made the electrical connections.

    Oh man. I didnt have the pump installed....just the core. But i ended up taking it out and putting just the blower for now. The core for some reason at first wouldn't budge because of the grey rtv but i had to use a towel and a breaker bar to pry it of the lim. Ill have to order a new stae 2 fmhe because mines has vanished from my entire house or maybe the zzp $60 intercooler radiators for now.

    Also this was my first time doing a LIM change and i was successful. Im happy the gasket and ported lim install went well.

    ive read a radiator works better than a FMHE.

    Radiator=bigger=better cooling=more involved install

    It's a radiator out of a VW Scirocco that some people use. Mid to late 90's. IIRC
