Anytime the crank pulley comes off a CASE learn is required. The following si good info. CKP Variation Learn
You have to have a tech II scanner or something of the like. I had my dyno guy do it for me.
unplugged the sensors on the tb and started it up to see if it made any difference which it really didnt, just idled a little higher and SES came on. Plugged everything back up, disconnected the battery and the SES still comes on so maybe whatever is wrong finally popped up, so ill have to get it scanned t/m.
i think the SES is from taking off the secondary o2, im gonna take my chances and swap everything into the new car and save all the sensors off my old motor. Dont have time to have the car scanned right now since i need the motor out so i can scrap the car ASAP
Finally got the motor in my race, but before hand I pulled the remaining rear plugs to find one more ngk iridium plug and 2 old school ac delco plugs w litterally a 1/4 gap and worn out tips. Also ported my sc outlet and put a new gasket on. Thing fired up right away and throttle is real responsive, took it down the street and the things a beast.
Glad it wasn't something major. Nice!
