Do i remove all the hex bolts before installing the intercooler core or just the one zzp wrote to take off?
And do i cut the tubing into 3 pieces for FMHE to pump to core from core to FMHE??

your first question would be answered by reading whats written on the core in black marker in your pic.
Second question:
Don't cut anything till you have the core, FMHE and pump mounted. Then start plumming and cut it as you see fit.
Thanks matt.
np.
looking forward to it running!
No not yet. I will be mounting it tomorrow after work.
What type of TUBE gasket do i use on the LIM? I dont thin zzp included any with the stage 3 kit. They only gave me the aluminum gaskets.
have pictures of the gaskets you have?
Your core looks like a WBS stage 2 without front PCV to me.
But I can't be 100% sure.
Did you get a LIM from them as well? If so, have pictures of that as well?
Edit: At second glance it looks like it has front PCV as well, thus ZZP core, but again, depends on the LIM.
You could use RTV (doesnt matter what kind) but make sure the front PCV isn't filled with RTV, but still sealed.
ZZP sent me the garlock gaskets and this is the tpe of rtv im using
Yes i got the LIM from zzp. I ordered the complete stage 2 kit from them.
Should i use the same rtv on the garlock gaskets too for better sealing?
i used garlocs and rtv between the gasket and the core, had a leak.
put on just rtv and it's been sealed ever since.
if you used rtv on both sides it should seal.
so dont use the garlock gaskets and use just rtv???
Ive herd some people cut the stock gaskets...
I'm not 100% on this but i was under the impression the stock gaskets aren't big enough for the modded front PCV system that ZZP employs on those cores.
use the gaskets and rtv. i use the diy gasket material from felpro, its $10 a role at most parts stores. line them up and make sure they arent blocking anything, if it is cut a hole there. only use a thin layer of rtv
use the garlock gaskets or oem?
As long as they cover eveything decently and don't look super thin in any of the corners, go ahead and use the gaskets and that 26B. That's a favorite of mine on IC's. Yet to have a leak using that and the gaskets. Only takes a prybar to get it back apart, right Brian?
