You can literally clamp the Filter right on the Throttle Body if you want. Or for a slightly nicer look, do like GrandPrixGt2000 said.

You can get the 4" tube and coupler at any auto parts store that sell Spectre brand, that is what I used

A cone filter.

Hence the name open cone; you bolt it to the throttle body with no other pipe. Like this:

and i know it just bolts up

i was wondering what kind of coupler or adapters may be needed?

There is a duct clamp on the end of the cone filter that you tighten onto the throttle body
There is no couplers or adapters needed

How are you all mounting your IAC? just running it external or what?

I have mine running external just sitting near the filter
Hasn't seemed to cause any problems other than it looking a little goofy

Same here! I just don't like it. I'm afraid it'll get water on it or somethin.

it gets water on it when its in an intake tube too. do you never drive in the rain?
