What does your engine run at?? If I'm stuck in traffic or idiling the gauge goes up to 3/4 or sometimes a line after that...The car doesn't boil over, it just seems to high...Am I thinking too much into this?
FYI - don't seem to have any leaks and I've replaced all the intake gaskets. It does have a slight smell of anti-freeze but it doesn't use any up. Ideas??

190 while driving, and 210ish in traffic.

The think the fans come on and 212 and 230ish I think.

That sounds normal to me and depending on where you live too will determine the temps too.

That' s right, sitting in traffic you can expect to see 212 before fan1 engages, and fan2 226 degrees, unless the a/c is on then they both will be on, depending on the pressure in the a/c system, fan1 on at 190psi fan2 on at 240psi fan2 off 190psi. The main thing to verify is consitantcy from day to day, and that the temp goes down when moving. If your radiator cap is 16psi and it is not boiling, thats good.
Would not hurt to check the coolant level when engine is cool.
If you have not replcaed your intake manifold gaskets, it would be a good idea to do so becuase the facory ones are prone to fallure and you might not know coolant is leaking.
