hello everyone, so i swapped out my old engine for a fresher one from morad. the day after i took my engine out someone stole it from my driveway, and i never got the whip that connects to the coolant temp sensor to the main harness off the engine. i assume i can just call morad and get one shipped, i was wondering what else that little harness hooked up to though. i know it starts at the 3 prong connector near the front valve cover, and goes to the ect, but where does it run from there? i couldn't see any other open connectors or sensors that were near by the ect

I'm not certain that morad would give you just that portion, you may need to get a whole new harness, which may be the best way to go. Slicing wiring harness wires can sometimes create problems.

i didn't think i needed to do any splicing. i read in another thread that the section i'm missing is detachable like the crank/cam sensor section. but if it involves spicing i will definatly go with a whole new harness

It doesn't hook up to anything else. It only connects to the ect sensor.

If you can, post up a picture, that might help narrow it down. Somebody may be able to give you a proper name as well.
