    Hey been awhile, I have been busy working with little time to get online since they took the internet away from us.

    Anyways, I was playing around the other night and nothing really to speak of there. I arrived at my destination and nothing to report. Spent a few hours in a meeting, got in my car.. BANGING as soon as i started it. THUD, THUD, THUD the whole ride home. Only about 5 mins ride. So I took apart the car this weekend, low and behold, spun #1 and good too. Got the crank resurfaced and new set. Got it back together about and hour ago. started it up.. LESS knocking, but it is still knocking. It goes away at cruise, but clatters like an old steam engine coming up to speed.

    Any help here? What am I not thinking of? I don't have any REAL money to throw at it but I need a reliable means of transportation.

    You really need a machine shop to put the bottom end together and check everything over. Sorry..it's that or a new motor. Another motor would be the lowest cost in most cases.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
