    I wonder if it would be easier if you got the Australian M90 and LIM for your conversion



    Not sure if our thermostat housing is different to the us version

    That still might not clear the firewall.

    Also looks pretty restrictive. they should have had the snout on the rear a la LS9 etc.

    How much do they normally go for?

    Dave/trannyman has a thread of his own swap. He put the intake piping on the other side and used an H body coil bracket. That seemed to result in more belt wrap.

    matt answered that for me plus i don't know anyway of getting parts from Australia.

    You Can usually pick them up on Ebay or The forums From About $250 - $450 for the housing and U depending on condition or mods Most people here wouldnt have any problems posting to the US ,but the trick for you guys is to wait until our dollar goes to **** again and get it cheaper

    Heres some photos of the fire wall clearance in a Vs holden





    And also the U bend Which you can buy a carbon fiber version here thats takes a ls1 Tb 10mm bigger internally with better fire wall clearance than the standard The one pictured has been mildly ported and internally polished but Ive seen them opened up a lot more than this
