Wow i didn't even think there was a gaping tool. I thought all this time people knew exactly where to gap it at or were guessing. That's good news. Where could i buy the gaping tool at?

I don't think you got a answer here.
I haven't changed my plugs but I went to remove one to check it and it was tight. I read the you must 'Turn' the plug boots first then 'pull' it for them to release.

They shouldn't break at 40k. The iridium are suppose to last 100k but I doubt they do last with optimal performance.. My mileage has dropped by 5 mpg so I believe it's time for plugs.

depending on your engine or whatnot, changing the plugs the first time may be a pain but leave the covers off and your next installs will be a lot smoother.

For stock 3.8 engine they suggest 606 autolite.

There is the iridium XP606 and a non irirdium 606..
They are suggesting the plain plugs which are $1.99?

Better price. You can change them 3 times without costing as much as the iridiums. Now I got to learn the easiest way to change them.

    get headers.

coppers last maybe 10 000 miles though.

They're apparently not good enough for the DIS system.

Are you serious? Copper core only last about 10k?

The headers helps with plug changes?

My experience with headers brought many gasket replacements and tightening regularly.

No...we use the factory manifold gaskets...and you'll realize how easy it is to change plugs once you get headers and get rid of all the misc. engine pull brackets, engine cover, and metal spark plug boots.

I can change plugs in about 10 minutes or so...

Wow. I was always told and by mechanics that plugs are hard as hell to change on our engines especially now with my speed daddy headers.

Seriously with SD headers you just need a 3/8ths ratchet, 3" extension and the 5/8ths spark plug socket.

You dont need to rock the engine or anything.

    Same with pacesetters.

Probably applies to all headers, but those are the only two sets i have experience with.

meh...I'll still run Autolite's because they've never steered me wrong...cheap and effective that's what I like.
