hey guys i was wondering if there would be any gain or loss from removeing the egr. im doing a swap to my camaro but im not sure if reinstalling the egr would be worth it. i already have the motor in the car and everything seems to be going as planed. i can still adapt the egr with little issue but im not sure it its worth it. thanks.

EGR's help fuel mileage and cylinder temps. If you can, run it.

X2 what bill said. only real reason not to run it is with a Intercooler. I still do with my intercooler but it gunks them up

I removed mine because it's ugly and it leaked. I haven't noticed much of a change in fuel mileage, and I deleted the EGR DTC code that it threw.

Removed mine and deleted the codes a year ago, no reportable issues here, Removing it makes thing easier to work on, and it looks better
