So i get the new zzp coupler in today and needed to know a few things. I have been told the snout needs to be torqued back on, so how much should i torque it and also do i have to use some RTV/gasket maker on it?

Don't use RTV or gasket maker. There is a special sealant that GM uses but my mind escapes me on what it's called at the moment. PM Reptile and ask him. I know it's not cheap either.
Fast POP QUIZ! lol
its called anaerobic sealer.. oreillys has it. put a nice bead on both the snout and case... torque down immediately... it dries in the absence of air, oh yea.... and drain fluid before u break snout loose or u will have a stinky mess under ur hood.
and get a can or brake cleaner and clean out the inside of the snout and make sure the mating surfaces are both clean and free of any of the old sealant that may be there.
Just use a sharp blade.
buy some new scraper blades.
they should be able to take it off no problem.
then use the anaerobic sealant.
just make it tight/snug.
not much more.
^^ Same here. Hand tight is good for me
