glanzergtx usually knows what he is up to with tuning. i would check with him to see what he was doing.

also, dont assume bottom end damage yet. do a compression check, get a boroscope to check out the pistons, etc. however, with that much plug damage its almost certain youll need to replace some bottom end parts if not the whole bottom end.

The tune is pretty close now. Before i only pissed with the fueling some and got the timing curve figured out. The kr was at 7-8 orginally and i got it to 4 BUT with a L26 and genV you arent gonna get the kr any lower without having some sort of exhaust mods. Hell ported manifolds with a 3inch DP and e85 will still be better than what you are at now.

    EDIT,

If his bottem end was SHOT, when im scanning wouldnt i see a misfire once in awhile from either cruising to WOT?

I did not see any misfires at all during the scan last night.

4 degrees of knock on a high compression block on a constant basis is a very bad thing, even on the stock pulley.

i dont know if the bottom end is gone. i can only assume the only other possibility is raised compression chamber temps. like i said above from running low timing.

Meh...I had a chipped piston...sh1t, half the skirt was gone...once I changed the plug out of that cylinder...it didn't misfire evah...until it started knocking...literally. But first things first...before you even buy a motor...buy headers...they are $200 brand new off of EBay from Speed Daddy...you probably would have been knock free if he had you down at 4* of knock with headers on that car...also...what was the WOT timing set at? Anything less than stock isn't good for the car...

The WOT timing is stock and obviously it gets retarded some with the KR. I will have to look at the scan when i get home.

with 4* of knock i bet its running under 10* WOT, which makes for some massive combustion temps.

Get rid of the KR. By adding supporting mods such as headers, rockers, etc
