I am in the process of putting this l67 together and im running into one more problem. I cant seem to get the fuel injectors to seal in the cylinder head. They dont seem to be going in all the way like they are getting hung up. I am using vasenline to try to convince them to go in..no luck any help would be great TIA

Lube them up and then tap on the fuel rail with a rubber mallet.

X2 I always just smeared alittle oil on them and tapped them in. If you over oil you will get some smoke out the exhaust from it burning the oil.

I'm finally getting to do the LIM over Christmas, so I might run into this prob. Good to know these little tidbits for those of us who aren't experienced. Thanks.

What a fun Christmas present for you! I did mine a couple weekends ago, not too bad.

Couple things that helped me out a lot...
    1. Box of q-tips
    2. Several rolls of paper towels
    3. Extra vacuum hose rubber thingies they plug into
    4. Made sure I had every part i needed before i started!
    5. Camera for reference
    6. Laptop
    7. Tape and marker

Have a good time, stay warm!

Just seat them in the rail then bolt it down.

If your rail isn't bent then they should seal no problem.

I always lube them with oil, get them seated, bolt it down and go.

I just dabbed a bit of oil on, went smoov. Gentle tap-tap to make sure they're in, no leaks

Oh ya, make sure the hole is very clean so the o-ring can seal well.
