The stock oil pan on my 2002 GTP is almost rusted through, and I was curious if there is an oem aluminum pan available for the 3800 in the Grand Prix GTP chassis. If anybody knows of a cross reference I would appreciate it. I wouldn't bother with a brand new one if a cast one was available. A call to the local salvage yard should get me a decent used one that is of course if they exist.

    Thanks in advance, Jeremy

Pretty sure all the series3 engines have cast aluminum, Not 100% sure but you will need to cut/grind some off new pan to clear subframe in older cars
2000 GT ,E85 powered, and still slow

I have a few decent ones you could have for the cost of shipping, just let me know.

01GTP, I appreciate the offer but the cost of shipping from Iowa to New Brunswick Canada or Calais, Maine for that matter would probably run the same as what crazy old Earl ( the local salvage yard owner) would charge me for a cast pan.

If I went stateside more frequently I would consider it. If you could tell me what model and year the pans are interchangable on I should be able to track one down on my end.

    Thanks again
