    I've been heavily debating a nic cam lately. What would i need? i see zzp and other members are using a double roller, do i really need a double roller for this cam? Is it because of the loopy idle? What kind of powerband would i get with this cam, i would guess low end to mid range? what is everyone reving to? 6-6,500k? I already have 105# crow springs would these be ok and not too aggressive?

    I have all gaskets and everything along with a brand spankin new xp cam sitting in my basement since last march, im procrastinating install since im afraid i won't be happy with the end results.

    I really, really would like to see mid to low 12's non- intercooled with as small of a pulley i can

    the car is a gt with a gen5 top swap, mods listed in sig.

    NIC is the you must wideband tune and watch it cam.

    but its epicly quick.

    I would stick with the xp since you allready have it. You should be able to hit 12's with that.

    XP is also a great cam and goes GREAT with bigger injectors and a full-size IC.

    Even going from N/A to S/C requires better tires IMO.

    Any power increase needs some sort of way to get it to the pavement...suspension, mounts, tires, trans...

    so its either xp cam and i/c or nic cam

    seems like every xp camed car is stuck in the 13's which is something that i would dread. I'm begging for 12's without the use of an i/c. Tuning all the time isn't an issue since i barely drive the car anyway. What kind of powerband is it tho?

    a NIC cam + E85 would be quite quick.

    As would an XP with E85 though.

    XP with your mods should hit 12's unless you need a new driver mod.

    XPZ, Alum heads,150#, I/C, GEN V mps 3.0, N* TB CAI K&N fully built trans, JE pistons, L32 rods, Comp lifters, PRJ Fuel rails, 65# Injectors, elec pump, MSD wires, MSD coils, Alum control arms, AGX, vogtland, GMPP sway bars, rear trailing arms

    mainly to have a little more different setup, hit 12 without i/c, run real small pulley, and the nasty idle.
