lately (last 2 months or so) I have been getting some bad over heating while on the highway (over 55mph and up to 230*) but when i slow down or going around town it drops down to normal (about 170*) AC being on has made no difference...

anyone know what i should try looking at? im kinda stuck

    thanks,
    Jarred

my cars kind of the same way, it actually runs cooler sitting still than it does going 70 down the highway. what thermostat are you running? when was the last time you flushed the coolant? how is the coolant level? have you ever changed the ect sensor?
