I been only getting 7-8lbs of boost on wot on a 3.4 pulley. My mods are ssac headers, 103's autolites, 180 t-stat, dhp tune, open cone intake. I have already replaced all of the vac lines and also unplugged the solenoid to boost actuator and still nothing. Anyone have any ideas????

I'm peaking at 10 lbs on my 3.4" with a plog and DP combo. So with your headers your boost levels sound about right.

with the setup in my sig I was hitting 14pounds of boost with 3.4.. Pretty sure was boost stacking though for some reason.. Not too sure why though with headers it was stacking so high..

Boost stacking is a dumb term...that is how you make power with a roots style car. If you were getting 14psi on a 3.4" then you have flow issues.

ya I know.. When I step on it the boost goes to around 9 then creeps up to 13 to 14 psi I hav even seen it hit 15 .. That was when I ran 13.7 on that pass.. But that was my fault bc rpms was set high at 6200.. But I hit the perf shift and let it shift at 5900 .. But it hits 14psi constantly at 6000 rpms. I hav always wondered why it's had such FLOW ISSUES.. In summer it stays around 12psi.. Car had 187000 when it was at track last. Now bigger and better things are goin into the gtp.. New ported heads and xpz setup.. Hopefully my flow will b better..

Right...because if your intercooled...and you have headers...that thing shouldn't be making more than 8psi if not less. Sounds like an obstruction somewhere in the system...but your times in the 1/4 don't reflect that. A buddy of mine had your same mods minus the IC and headers (he had a DIY ported front manifold and 3" catless DP/3" catback) and had about 15psi. Put on a ported blower/tb...dropped it to 12-13...probably just a factory freak. IMO, I always thought that they existed...some people think its a stupid thing...I think its legit. I think you installed the mufflers backwards...

lol actually my mufflers are on a lil weird.. The offsets are not rite for my car and one is upside down to make it look right.. Don't thnk it's any harm though lol I hope not anyways.. I hav a question.. If you look in a chiltons manual it says that in 98 and 99 that the gtp and regals with supercharged engine had a higher compression ratio than 97 and 2000 and newer .. One guy told me it was a misprint or somethn.. All I know is every chiltons manual for our cars says it's higher in 98 and 99... Wats ur .02 on this ? Mine is a 98 and does run pretty good besides the boost being high

No...they were all 8.5:1...and the N/A cars were all 9.4:1...there is no change...I can't honestly believe that would be in the Chilton manual. As for mufflers...you do know that they do have a flow direction right? If they are off set and not sitting right then you are actually creating more backpressure than needed because your trying to make the air enter through the exit...does that make sense? And ya...it actually would make a difference...its like shoving a bunch of kleenax in your nostrils and then you trying to blow them out

yep go to ur local parts store and look in the chiltons manual.. The one with the red gtp on the front cover and it has compression ratios ,hp ratings .. If I had my car here I'd tell you which page lol and the mufflers are goin the rite direction jus upside down .. Not flipped around to where the exit is wrong way.. But who knows mayb the shop did **** up and put it backwards I hav never really thought bout that before and could make sense why I hav flow probs

Alright. So im guessing my boost is fine then. What about the p0141 code? Does that have to do with having no cat cuz my friend was supposed to set that to no report. And will that affect anything if it keeps coming up?

Would that make a difference or should I just keep those in there till I do drop? Im trying to go to a 3.3 or 3.25 depending on kr once I upgrade the valvetrain within the next month or so.
