    lol it doesn't even feel like my car, the only pull i have ANYMORE is between 3-4grand. but ya guess it would be time to pull the s/c. any write ups on how to inspect them?

    So after reading several other posts I decided to change the plugs and wires. I only did the front 3 but the chirping is gone and the power is back!

    Your car must have just been misfiring, and I wouldn't really think of that sound as a chirp.

    but people didn't think my car was "chirping" either. its a very vague word i guess. but theres no way. well.... whats it cost for 6 plugs right

    BUMP! I found a small airleak around this rod on the s/c but have no idea what it is!

    so am i screwed and should i go through with changing the s/c?
    (this is not my s/c just one i stole off google for demonstration purposes)

    i don't think it explains all my symptoms tho. the powerloss is ridiculous in the car right now. and the "clatter" is starting at 4000 instead of 5000...
